Dorothy F. Varney

EASTON Dorothy F. (Soeldner) Varney, 65, a resident of Easton for the past 53 years, died Friday morning, at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, after a brief illness. Born in Boston, August 4, 1943, a daughter of the late Edward and Sophie (Polabuska) Soeldner, she was raised and educated in Roslindale and Easton and was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School. Dorothy was employed as a medical billing specialist and worked for more than 20 years for Bridgewater Goddard Park Medical Associates. An avid bowler, she enjoyed reading and was actively involved with her grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters, Linda J. DeCouto of Easton and Susan Keeling of West Bridgewater; a sister, Diane Flanagan of Brockton; two brothers, Michael Soeldner of Easton and Matthew Soeldner of Brockton; five grandchildren, Lauren and Kristen DeCouto of Easton and Elizabeth, Aaron and Christian Keeling of West Bridgewater; nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral Tuesday, at 10 a.m., in the Kane Funeral Home, 605 Washington St. (Rte.138), Easton.
