Scott Ducharme Obituary

WHITMAN Scott W. Ducharme, 46, died Sunday, Oct. 12, after a period of failing health. He was a beloved son of Sandra (Smith) Caldwell of Halifax and Leonard Ducharme of Hanover. Scott was born and raised in Whitman, where he remained a lifelong resident, and a graduate of Whitman Hanson High, Class of 1980. He worked many years as an auto mechanic and loved golfing, fishing and was an avid reader. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his longtime companion, Debra Crawford; his sons, Patrick, Kevin, Joshua and Christopher; his brother, Kris Ducharme and his wife Laureen of Middleboro; his sisters, Kim Ducharme of Holbrook, Bonnie Barnes and her husband Greg of Plymouth and Michelle Pierre of Manchester, N.H. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. His services will be held Friday, Oct. 17, at 1 p.m. in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary), Whitman. Burial will follow in the Northville Cemetery, East Bridgewater. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, Oct. 16, from 5-8 p.m. For online condolences and directions, please visit www.blanchardfc.com.
