Marjorie Emery Obituary

EAST BRIDGEWATER Marjorie I. (Field) Emery, 79, formerly of Brockton, died Oct. 27, 2008, at her home in East Bridgewater. She was the wife of the late Forrest H. Emery Sr. Marjorie was born in Boston and had been a resident of East Bridgewater for the past 45 years. She was a former Brownie leader, Cub Scout leader and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Marjorie was an artist and creative designer, with skills including quilting, sewing, painting and sculpturing. She was also an amateur naturalist and environmentalist. What she loved most were her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Forrest H. Emery Jr., Holly Siscoe and Shelby McDonnell; sister of the late William Knox; grandmother of Allan, Nikki, Bradford, Ryan, Pamela, Julia; and special friend of Kevin J. Cushing. A memorial service will be held in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman, Saturday at 1 p.m. For directions or to sign the guest book, please visit www.mackinnonfuneral.com.
