James Kett Obituary

STOUGHTON James Kett, 69, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly, at home, Saturday, Nov. 1. He was the husband of the late Paula M. (Reardon) Kett. Born in Stoughton, he was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1957. A plumber, Mr. Kett was a member of the Plumbers Union in Boston for many years, before retiring five years ago. He was a member of the VFW Post 8892 in Avon and the Polish White Eagles in Brockton. In his free time, he loved fishing and boating. Mr. Kett is survived by his siblings, George G. Kett of Yarmouthport, Patricia A. Uliano of Canton and Beverly J. Bowie of Attleboro; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, William D. Kett. Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stoughton, Thursday, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton.
