Richard LaFrance Obituary

STOUGHTON Richard W. Turtle LaFrance, 50, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died at Parkwell Nursing Home, in Hyde Park, Friday, Oct. 31. He was the husband of Patricia LaFrance. Born and educated in Stoughton, he was a member of the U.S. Army from December 1976 to December 1977. Mr. LaFrance was a tree cutter for Treetopping by Billy, in Stoughton, for several years. He was a friend of Bill W. He is survived by his children, Nicole E. LaFrance of Weymouth, Richard LaFrance Jr. of Stoughton and Alicia LaFrance of Bridgewater. He was the brother of Russell LaFrance Jr. of Connecticut, Lisa Beaucaire of East Bridgewater, Michael and Steven LaFrance, both of Stoughton, and the late Jody Bauer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stough-ton, Wednesday, from 5-8 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Turtles name may be made to American Lung Assn., 460 Totten Pond Road, Waltham, MA 02451. Directions and obituary at www.farleyfh.com.
