Veronica Blaher Obituary

HOLBROOK Veronica, T. (Hague), of Holbrook, formerly of Brockton, died November 5, 2008 at the age of 82. Wife of the late Lawrence Blaher. Veronica was born and raised in New York City. She lived in Hyde Park for 35 years before moving to the South Shore. Loving mother of Peter Blaher and his wife Linda of Holbrook and Lora Kerr and her husband William of Brockton; devoted sister of Phyllis Mason of N.J; daughter of the late Douglas and Margaret (Owens) Hague; dear grandmother of Peter Blaher Jr. and his wife Crystal of Holbrook, Shawn Kerr and his wife Eileen of Brockton, Erin Cummings and her husband Joseph of Brockton, Christopher Kerr and his wife Deirdre of Brockton and Allison Kerr and her longtime friend Christopher Lemoing of Brockton; great-grandmother of Trevor, Madison, Liam, Kathleen, Coleman, Molly, Christian and Gabriel. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin Street (Rte. 37), Holbrook, until 8:15 a.m., on Monday, followed by funeral Mass at 9 a.m., in St. Joseph Church, Holbrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4-7 p.m. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Ave. Suite 2, Norwood, MA 02062. Peter and Lora, No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve. Your Mother was a good friend to my Mother (also deceased this past year) and I can remember her when she babysat my brother and myself. I know she will be missed

Peter and Lora, I am sorry to hear of your mother's death. She was a good lady and a good friend to my mother. I rememeber your house next to the school and the McDonough's and the good times we had there. May she rest in peace.
