Isabelle Villano Obituary

BRIDGEWATER Isabelle M. "Betty" (Anderson) Villano, 84 years, of Bridgewater, formerly of Hanson and Rockland, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008, at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Gerard Jerry Villano for 64 years. Betty was born April 11, 1924, in Warwick, R.I. Growing up, Betty was an avid softball player and roller skater. She also played a softball game in front of the great Babe Ruth. She was a loving mother to Jerry Villno and his wife Janet of Halifax, David Villano of Carver, Kathleen Welch and her husband Dr. Kevin Welch of Hanson, Robert Villano of Whitman and Wayne Villano and his wife Kathy of Lakeville. She also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren, many of whom she taught to cook her famous homemade recipes. Betty enjoyed cooking, gardening, making beautiful holiday wreaths, walking along the beach with her grandchildren at Fourth Cliff in Scituate, playing daily cribbage games with her husband Jerry and their trips to Cocoa Beach, Fla., during the winter. Bettys greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her generosity, guidance and kindness. Aunt Betty will always have a special place in my heart as it was her name that I chose for my Confirmation. Her laughter will be sorely missed.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Uncle Jerry and his family.
With much love, Francine and Jim

This is something I have heard before and believed it seemed fit.

Miss Me But Let Me Go

When I come to the end of the road
and the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little - but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the fun and love we shared,
Miss me-but let me go.

For this is a journey that we must take
And each must go it alone,
It's all a part of the Master's plan,
A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick at heart
go to the friends you know,
And bury your sorrow in doing good deeds.
Miss me - but let me go.

There are no words that can express my condolences to your dear family. Betty was an exceptional, beautiful lady that will be truly missed by those that knew her. I am sorry that I can"t be there in person to share your loss, but may god bless you all in your time of need. I will remember her always.
My prayers are with you all,

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

God looked around his Garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain.
And knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw your path was difficult, he closed you tired eyes,
He whispered to you "Peace be Thine" and gave you wings to fly.
When we saw you sleeping so calm and free of pain,
We would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again.
You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide,
You live on through your children, you're always by our side.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you on the day God called you home.
