Rosemary, Matty, Michael,
It has been a year now and I still think about and miss Blair as I am sure you all do. My life changed when he entered it over 6 years ago and it also changed when Blair left this world for a better place.
I still think of all of you often and wonder how you are doing.
GOD Bless YOU,
Brodie Andrew

Dana, I was so sorry to read about Blair's passing. I remember all the good times we had in Marblehead as children, he was so much fun to be with. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss.

Rosemary, Matty, and Michael
What I will miss forever is watching Blair at the baseball fields, he just loved watching Matty Play. I will truly miss our time together at the park, I would go to the practices and all the games just to laugh with him. He had a wonderful spirit and a big heart.

What a pillar of strength and determination! I truly admired his positive outlook. I called Blair "Our Gentle Ben", a huge entrance, quiet and peaceful. We will miss your smile and words of encouragement you gave to other people facing cancer and the chemotherapy.

Blair was one of the first people I met when coming to charlotte...in the begining our desks were right next to each other!
While our differing roles in the Westin Charlotte project could have set us on a path to conflict, I never found that to be the case with Blair.
Blair was always a great friend and supporter to me and my team and the work we have accomplished.
His friendship and the way he welcomed me and introduced all of us to his wonderful family was one of the things I will always remember and cherish the most about my time in Charlotte.
My thoughts and condolences are with his family in this trying time...

To the Johnson Family,
I met Blair my first day here at the Westin charlotte, April 14, 2003. He was always very cheerful, talkative about the hotel, safety, Red Sox,( I am a Braves fan), and life in general. Blair had the rare and unique ability to connect to any person at any level. Blair always spoke to anyone from the owners to the hourly workers in the same, genuine engaged manner. I truly cherish my friendship with Blair, and I thank you for your bravery and courage during his battle with cancer. Take care Johnson family, and all of you will always be in our thoughts.

What I remember most about Blair. He was always complimentary of our department and our hard work. He told me a great story about when he was a child and went sailing by himself and ended up far from home and got in trouble with his parents. He had a wonderful outlook about his sickness and said he thanked God it was him instead of his children. That says a great deal about his attitude about life and I hope I will never forget it.

Blair was a great man.He was open, honest, very up front, had a big heart and well thought of by everyone he met. He was always positive about everything. The Westin is Blair. He was a team member. He kept me at the Westin and I am blessed and thankful to him for influencing me and teaching me what I needed to know to do my best at the Westin. He will be missed at the Westin by all he came into contact with but especially the Engineering team of which I was very much a part of even though I was in the Security department. He will be missed more by his family that he loved dearly, Rosemary, Matty and Michael. You will always be in our prayers. Lori and Brodie Andrew

Rosemary, Matt, Michael,
Blair was a wonderful man, with a heart as larger as his height. Blair will be sorely missed as a friend, who on a daily basis was a positive influence to everyone around him. I count it as a blessing, that I was able to befriend Blair in the small time that he and I knew each other. I pray that you continue to have strength in these diffcult times and please know that your family will be not only in mine, but the prayers of many.

Rosemary, Matty and Michael, Please always know that Blair was a gentle giant. I often told him that he should go on the tv show - jeopardy, because he was so full of knowledge. I will miss asking him to teach me this or teach me that. I am and will be forever greatful for the warm welcome he gave to Myles and I. You and the boys will always be on my mind.
