Mary-Anne Parsons Obituary

BROCKTON Mary-Anne Parsons, 48, passed away, at Mass General Hospital, Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, after fighting a long courageous battle. Born in Brockton, she was raised in Rockland, before moving to New Bedford, where she resided for several years. She moved to Brockton two years ago. She was the mother of Jason P. Parsons of Pembroke; and two grandchildren, Jason P. Parsons Jr. and Joselyn Parsons; beloved daughter of Margaret J. (Parsons) Busi of Marshfield and John W. Parsons of Hanover. She was the sister of John H. Parsons of Ossipee, N.H., Robert J. Parsons of Brockton, Jackalyn J. Kelleher of Plymouth, Pamela J. Grigas of Marshfield and James W. Parsons of Carver; and leaves many nephews and two nieces. She also leaves a grandmother, Anne Hedin of Middleboro. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008, at Holy Family Church, 403 Union St., Rockland. Private burial will follow at Holy Family Cemetery, in Rockland. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., at www.diabetes.org. Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St., Rockland, is assisting the family.
