Doris Bagdon Obituary

MARLBORO Doris B. (Bryant) Bagdon, of Marlboro, and formerly of Taunton and Plymouth, died Saturday, Nov. 22, in Bolton Manor, Marlboro, following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Paul S. Bagdon. She was born 88 years ago in Canton, the daughter of the late Charles E. and Eva M. (Brodeur) Bryant. She was educated in Sharon and had been a Taunton resident for 13 years, before moving to Marlboro a year ago. She had previously resided in Cedarville and Brockton. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Bagdon had been employed as a machine operator for Raytheon Corp. in Brockton and Quincy for 31 years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a communicant of the former St. Jacques Church in Taunton. She leaves one son, Robert P. Bagdon and his wife, Ann, of Marlboro; one brother, Louis Bryant of Canton; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a dear friend, Rita LeBrun of Taunton; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bagdon was also the sister of the late Eileen Fisher and Ernest Bryant, both of Canton. Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church, 249 Whittenton St., Taunton, at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton.
