Natalie Francis Obituary

Natalie E. Francis TAUNTON Natalie E. (Szteliga) Francis, 89 years old, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, in Morton Hospital, following a period of failing health. She was born in Taunton, daughter of the late Wladyslaw and Elizabeth (Skiba) Szteliga. She attended the former Leonard School in Taunton and for years was employed at Formans Clothing Store on Main Street in Taunton as a sales clerk and as a polisher at Reed and Barton Silver Co. in Taunton. She was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church in Taunton. She was the wife of Robert Francis of Taunton for over 58 years. She was the sister of the late Frederick and Stanley Szteliga; and was the sister- in-law of Mildred Walczak of Taunton; and sister-in-law of the late Louise Szteliga. Natalie was the aunt of Cynthia Hathaway, Catherine McCrills, Teddy Roberts, all of Taunton, Frederick Szteliga and David Szteliga of Wareham and Michael Szteliga of Turners Fall; and she was the great aunt of several. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral from the Sowiecki Funeral Home, 69 West Britannia St., Taunton, Wednesday, at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial in Holy Rosary Church at 9:30 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m. Interment St. Josephs Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to Longmeadow of Taunton Patients Activities Fund, 68 Dean St., Taunton, MA 02780.
