Gina Kangiser Obituary

BRIDGEWATER Gina (Hall) Kangiser, 75, of Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton and Florida, died Saturday evening at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late John A. Kangiser. Born in New Shoreham, R.I., Aug. 16, 1933, a daughter of the late Allen W. and Dorothy (Littlefield) Hall, she was raised and educated on Block Island, R.I. A devoted homemaker for many years, she later went to work in the shipping and receiving area of the warehouse distribution industry. She was a resident of Brockton for many years and lived in Florida until her husband's passing, when she moved back to Bridgewater to reside with her son. Gina enjoyed sewing, crocheting and was an avid reader. She is survived by three sons, John Kangiser of Warwick, R.I., Joseph Kangiser of Bridgewater and Rodney Kangiser of South Boston; a brother, Allen Hall of Block Island, R.I.; a sister, Priscilla Steadman of Rhode Island; and nine grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial gathering Saturday, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., in the Kane Funeral Home, 605 Washington St. (Rte. 138), Easton. We were fortunate to have known both your Mom, Gina and your Dad, John. We are very sorry for your loss. They both were terrific people and we benefited by our friendship.
