Thomas Lucchetti Obituary

Thomas Lucchetti LINCOLN, R.I. Thomas Lucchetti, 90, of George Washington Highway, Lincoln, died Tuesday, at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of Elena (Ortenzi) Lucchetti. They celebrated their 66th year anniversary this past September. Born in Fontana Lire, Italy, a son of the late Antonio and Rosa (Patriarca) Lucchetti, he became an American citizen in April 1945. Mr. Lucchetti had lived in Lincoln for the past three years, and prior to that, he lived in Cumberland and Brockton, Mass. Thomas was one of the original founders in 1948 of the Cumberland Foundry, Cumberland. He devoted his life to his work and family. Besides his wife, he leaves one daughter, Gloria R. MacGillivray of Halifax, Mass.; two sons, Albert T. Lucchetti of Cumberland and Paul E. Lucchetti of Marshfield, Mass.; two sisters, Elena Rea of Bridgewater, Mass., and Marietta Sera of Fontana Lire, Italy; eight grandchildren, Lisa Bial, Nancy Tolson, Tina Otten, Thomas, Anthony, Christopher, Jason and Kevin Lucchetti; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews throughout the U.S. and Italy. His funeral will be held Saturday, at 9:45 a.m., from Bellows-Falso Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian burial in St. John Vianney Church, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday, 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to Lincoln Rescue, 100 Old River Road, Lincoln, 02865, would be appreciated. My Mom lives next door to
Tom's brother, Anthony. My Mom is Anthony's cousin. I remember Tom when I was a child, when the family came to visit my Aunt Anna and Uncle Larry. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. God bless your family during difficult time.
