Blanche Healey Obituary

YARMOUTH Blanche Kathryn (Deady) Healey, of Yarmouthport, died Sunday, Nov. 23. She was the beloved wife of the late George E. Healey. Mrs. Healey was born and raised in Boston, a daughter of the late Charles A. Deady and sister to the late Helen E. McGonagle and Charles Deady. Mrs. Healey was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy in the aviation field. She retired from Com Electric. She was the beloved aunt of Patricia A. McGonagle-Ring of Quincy and Charles McGonagle of Quincy. She is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews. A funeral Mass will be held Monday, Dec. 1, at 10 a.m., at St. Pius X Church, Station Avenue. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m., in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Canton Street, North Easton. Relative and friends are welcome to call at the Morris & OConnor Funeral Home, 58 Long Pond Drive, South Yarmouth, Monday, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. For guest book, visit www.MorrisOConnor.com.

Mrs. Healey,
Maam, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
