Jessica E. Hayford

KINGSTON Jessica E. "Gram" (Tobey) Hayford, of Kingston, died Nov. 26, 2008. She was 98 years old. Mrs. Hayford was a member of the Kingston Grange, Mayflower South Pomona Grange and the Massachusetts State Grange, where she served for many years as a junior deputy. Mrs. Hayford was the owner and operator of the Countryside Lunch and Variety store, also known as The Little Store in Kingston. Mrs. Hayford was the wife of the late Henry L. Hayford; mother of Muriel Ann Boyce of Kingston; grandmother of Shannon C. Boyce-St. Marten of Kingston and Christopher S. Boyce of Somersworth, N.H.; great-grandmother of Alyssa Anne, Shawn, Ashley Elizabeth and Courtney Lynn. Visiting hours will be held Monday, Dec. 1, from 4-8 p.m., at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rte. 106), Kingston.
