Mr. O'Rourke,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served during the Cold War in the USN as a member of Attack Squadron 34 aboard the JFK(CV-67). Millions of Americans slept safe at night because you and your fellow servicemen stood ready to defend our Country. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Paula, What a shock to come home and hear about your loss. Kevin was a "good guy", and isnt that a good way to be remembered? We are all only here making memories and Kevin left us with a lot. Be well, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God bless.

When I come to the end of my journey, and I travel my last weary mile, just forget if you can that I ever frowned.
And remember only the smiles. Forget unkind words I have spoken, remember some good I have done.
Forget that I ever had heartache, and remember I've had loads of fun.
Forget that I stumpled and blundered, and sometime fell by the way. Remember I fought some hard battles and won, ere the close of the day.
Then forget to grieve for my going.
I would not have you sad for a day.
But in summer just gather some flowers and remember the place where I lay.
Come in the shade of the evening, when the sun paints the sky in the west.
Stand for a few moments beside me,
and remember only my best.
Gone but never forgotten, you have left us with wonderful memories.

My sincene condolences to the whole family. I still have the plants in my garden that he gave me years ago. Every time they come up in the spring I think of him and remember his deep voice and quick wit. He's a good man and has left two lovely children as his legacy. He will be greatly missed.
