Semper Fi, Marine. Was searching for a Marine who attended basic with me in 1975 at Parris Island (261). His name was Kip Colby, from Nashua, NH. I believe. Came across this. Whether related or not, we were (are) all Marines. I'll see you at some point Marine John Colby when I report to Heaven for guard duty.

So Sorry to hear of your Dad's death. I can still see him leaning against the kitchen sink and drinking a glass of water while talking to his sister Barbara, my mother. My mother loved him so much.

Dear Kipp, Kate, Anne, and Chris,
I was so sorry to hear about Uncle John, he always was a favorite of mine! I have fond memories of John and Ma hanging around the table laughing up a storm.
I recently lost my youngest daughter so I can sympathize with what you are all experiencing.
God Bless and lots of love,
Pep Palleschi Miller

Mr. Colby,
Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice-first for our Country when you served in the USMC and secondly for the citizens of Massachusetts when you served as a Correctional Officer-the toughest job there is in Law Enforcement. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
