Richard Coutu Obituary

Richard T. Coutu HOLBROOK Richard T. "Rit" Coutu, of Holbrook, formerly of Brockton, passed away, at the age of 70, Dec. 3, 2008. He was the beloved husband of 50 years to Rosemary (Hixon) Coutu; loving father of Richard J. Coutu and Christine Coutu, both of Holbrook; devoted brother of Mary Climo and Dorothy Whipple, both of Holbrook, the late Lillian Lankowski, Francis Mahoney, Robert Mahoney and Harold Coutu. Mr. Coutu was born and raised in Boston, had lived in Holbrook for the past 13 years, and was formerly of Brockton. He was a retired machinist and also loved working with wood. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 South Franklin St. (Rte. 37), Holbrook. Funeral services Saturday, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. Burial in Union Cemetery, Holbrook.
