Walter McCarthy Obituary

Walter F. McCarthy BOSTON Walter F. McCarthy, died Dec. 9, in South Boston. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a beloved son of the late William and Mildred McCarthy; loving father of Kevin F. McCarthy of Billings, Mont., Beverly Schaukoski of Taunton, Christine Paiva of East Bridgewater, Debra Ferron of West Bridgewater, Maureen Miller of Whitman, Stephen McCarthy of Wyoming, R.I., and Kimberly Pierce of Abington. Also survived by 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held in the Cassidy-Keaney Funeral Home, 743 East Broadway, at L St., South Boston, Monday, Dec. 15, 4-8 p.m. Graveside services at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. In lieu of flowers, donations in Walter's name may be made to the VNA Hospice Care, 100 Sylvan Road, Woburn, MA 01801.
