Christine Watkins-Arena Obituary

WATKINS-ARENA Christine M. (Woodyard), of Weymouth, formerly of Quincy, Aug. 28, 2007, beloved wife of Frederick L. Watkins; devoted mother of Francis P. Arena and Lori J. Burgess, both of Weymouth; loving grandmother of Kimberly, Christine, Erin and Zoie; daughter of the late Alvin Woodyard and the late Ursula Pringle; stepdaughter of Verla Woodyard of Ohio; sister of Steven Woodyard of Ohio, Marcia Barry of Virginia and Robert Woodyard of Plymouth; also survived by many nieces and nephews, several aunts and cousins. Godmother of Melinda Esther of Ohio and lifelong friend of Lee Cascarano of Randolph. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Ave., Quincy, Saturday, Sept. 1, at 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 95 Crescent St., West Quincy, at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 p.m. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, West Quincy. For those who wish, donations in Christine's memory may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 20 Walnut St., Suite 318, Wellesley, MA 02481.

NANA I LOVE AND MISS YOU SO MUCH! YOUR ARE MY WORLD I HAVE SPENT MORE TIME WITH OF MY LIFE WITH THAN ANY BODY ELSE AND I AM SOOO GRATEFUL FOR THAT! I CAN'T WAIT TIL WE MEET AGAIN LOVE AND MISS YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH! MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER NO! A PIECE OF ME DIED WITH YOU! BUT I PROMISE TO THE REST IS HELPING ME LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST!
