STASTNY Virginia L. (Cole), of Mashpee, formerly of East Bridgewater, Aug. 31, 2007, wife of the late Steven C.; mother of Linda Stastny of East Bridgewater and Sandra Stastny of Mashpee; grandmother of Jeffrey, Erin, Christopher and Timothy; great-grandmother of Lili and Christian; sister of Donald Cole of Hanson, James Cole of Virginia, Madeline McWilliams and the late Grace Freeman, Walter, John, Basil, Frederick, Charles and Leonard Cole. Visiting hours in the Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater, Wednesday 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1115 West Chestnut St., Brockton, MA 02301.

to everyone who knew my mom: know in the last 2 years she was well taken care of. She did what she wanted and no one was going to change her mind. She got to know her great-grandson,Christian and he certainly kept her on her toes. She also had her own personal waiter, Tim who really cared for his grandmother.She will be sadly miss by Jenna,a little chihuahua, who shared many naps with her. I will miss my mom alot,but I'm glad she is sleeping peacefully now. I will always love my mom. Sandy
