Helen Vandale Obituary

Helen T. VanDale East Bridgewater Helen T. (Kershaw) VanDale, of East Bridgewater, formerly of Halifax, died Oct. 15, 2007, at Boston Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Harold W. VanDale. She was born in Boston on Nov. 3, 1914, daughter of the late Harry and Della (Bryant) Kershaw. She formerly worked at Gurney Tack Factory in Whitman. She lived in East Bridgewater for 40 years. She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Hammond and her husband Theodore Hammond; sister of the late Jenny Vining, Maude Johnson, Eleanor Snell and Harry Kershaw Jr. Also survived by four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and one special person, Ann Sullivan of Florida. Funeral service Friday at 11 a.m. in the Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater. Visiting hours Thursday 4-6 p.m. Burial in Fern Hill Cemetery, Hanson.
