Clyde Davy Obituary

Clyde Davy Brockton Clyde Davy, of Brockton, formerly of Holbrook, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at Brockton Hospital. He was 70 years old. He was born in Dorchester on May 10, 1937, son of the late Stanley E. and Minnie (Hull) Davy. He was in the U.S. Army National Guard for six years. He worked as a security guard for Info Systems in Plymouth, Pharmerica, where he delivered medication to nursing homes and home health care and drove truck for Thorson Computab in Avon. He also was self-employed as a guitar and music teacher at 53rd Ave. in Taunton. He was a member of the band The Lovin Touch and the Federation of Musicians in Brockton. He was the loving husband of Cynthia (Reed) Davy of Brockton; beloved father of Lisa Morais and her husband Herbert of Dighton and the late Brian Ernest Davy; brother of Ernest Davy and his wife Fran of Holbrook and Carolyn Federico and her husband Charles of Quincy; grandfather of Michael Morais and Matthew Morais of Dighton. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Calling hours on Friday, Oct. 19, from 9-11 a.m. in the Hickey-Grenier Funeral Home, 238 Court St., Brockton. Funeral service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
