Janice Kehoe Obituary

Janice Kehoe Snoqualmie, Wash. Jan Kehoe, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away on Oct. 23, 2007. She spent her final days doing what she loved most, spending time with her family. Born on Sept. 15, 1932, in Franklin, Mass., she was one of nine children. She graduated from Franklin High School in 1950 and went on to St. Elizabeth's Nursing School in Brighton, Mass., earning her RN in 1953. She married her husband, Ted, of 51 years, on July 14, 1956. Jan and Ted raised six of their seven children in the small town of West Bridgewater, Mass., before spending three years in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, where their 7th child was born. She then settled in Snoqualmie with her family in 1975. She was active in her church, Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church and many school activities. Through the church the family volunteered to house a Laotian family until they could find a permanent home. After her children were grown, Jan went back to work, first as a wine taster for the Snoqualmie Winery and then at the Meadowbrook Specialty Clinic, returning to her love of the nursing field. In her retirement, Jan enjoyed spending time with her family. Jan is survived by her husband, Ted; daughters, Lynn, Gail, Sharon, Joyce, Debi and Audrey and her husband, Dave; sons, Dave and his wife Fang and Steve and his wife Joyce; grandson Nick and his wife Vicky; nine other grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Snoqualmie Aid Car that assisted her so many times. A celebration of her life will be hosted by her family at her home, 38200 SE 92nd St., Snoqualmie, on Sunday, Nov. 4, from 2-5 p.m. Boulder City Family Mortuary handled the arrangements.
