Ruth Wells Obituary

Ruth Wells Sudbury Ruth "Dot" Wells, 86, formerly of Sudbury, passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, in Newburgh, Ind. She was born April 24, 1921, in Lewiston, Maine. Dot was a member of Memorial Congregational Church in Sudbury. Dot was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Margaret Sprague; husband, Richard L. Wells Sr.; and son-in-law, Bill Stegemoller. She is survived by her daughter, Victoria Parmenter and husband, John of Illinois; son, Richard L. Wells Jr. and wife Donna of Derry, N.H.; daughter, Rebecca Stegemoller of Indiana; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Bernard E. Sprague Jr. of Hemet, Calif.; sister, Norma Erickson of Marston Mills; brother, MacDonald Sprague of Kingston; and sister, Mary Marconi and husband Robert of Duxbury; nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, at Cartwright Funeral Home, Randolph, with burial at Central Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Emerson Hospital, Concord. Arrangements by Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 North Main St., Randolph. vickie,richie and becca,

so sad to hear about your mom.growing up in randolph i have so many wonderful memories of your mom and dad. jerry and i loved coming over your mom was so good to us. i will always treasure those moments. thanksgivings and christmas at nans, we were such a roudy bunch of cousins and always had such a great time. when you guys came during the summer from cal. was always a gift i always looked forward to we should keep in closer touch. love, mary ellen
