Doris C. Moore

Doris C. Moore Brockton Doris C. (Fahey) Moore, of Brockton, died on Monday, Nov. 12, at the Colony House Nursing & Rehabilitation in Abington. She was 90 years old. Born in Taun-ton, she was a daughter of the late Edward F. and Blanche (Emond) Fahey. She attended schools in Taun-ton and Waltham. She worked for New England Telephone Co. as a line assigner for 27 years and was a pioneer with the telephone company. She was a former member of the Ladies of St. Ann of Sacred Heart. Doris volunteered in the Brockton hospitals. She enjoyed bowling and crocheting. She was the loving wife of 65 years to Edward Moore of Brockton; beloved mother of Edward L. Moore of Brockton and Patricia A. Spivey of Brockton; sister of Edward Fahey Jr. of Wareham, Butch Fahey of Brockton, Dennis Fahey of Wareham, Blanche Sylvester of Brockton and the late Norman Fahey and Richard Fahey. Also survived by five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral from the Hickey-Grenier Funeral Home, 238 Court St., Brockton, on Friday, Nov. 16, at 8 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Brockton. Calling hours on Thursday 5-8 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
