Mary Nourse Obituary

Mary Ann Nourse Middleboro Mary Ann Nourse, age 67 years, of Middleboro died on Nov. 20, 2007, at Morton Hospital, Taunton, unexpectedly. She was the wife of Donald H. Nourse of Middleboro, they had been married for 44 years. Born in Boston, June 30, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Dorothy (St. James) Nichols. Graduate of Quincy High School, she had moved to Middleboro in the late 1940s and had been a resident of Middleboro since. She loved country music and will be warmheartedly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Survivors include her husband of 44 years; two daughters, Daphney and her husband Wayne Galhardo of Wareham and Wendy and her husband Thomas Wirrell of Middleboro; one brother, Kenneth Nichols of Middleboro; two sisters, Gail Nichols of Wareham and Bonnie Thomas of Indiana; five grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Richard Nichols and Dorothy Goodine. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 24, at 9 a.m. at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, New Bedford. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 7-9 p.m. only. I'm so sorry to hear about Mary. She was a great friend & neighbor. I'll never forget her kind offer to wear her wedding dress when I didn't have one. She always went out of her way to help everyone & will be missed.
