Dear Mrs. Leighton, Jamie, Brad, Spencer and Matthew,
I was very sorry to hear that Mr. Leighton died. I remember him best helping Jamie with school projects - like the great box kite he helped her build. As a kid, I was so impressed that he was a Navy veteran and an engineer who understood how things worked. I know that you'll miss him very much. I send you my condolences. With sympathy,
Joan Smith

Dear Marge and Family,
I was very saddened to hear from Kellie and Kristin that their dear Uncle Bob was gone. I remember how much endless promise we all had as young families and remain amazed at how many challenges we are asked to endure.
I hope you have saved the beautiful memories of Bob as a foundation for finding future times of joy with those you love.
Peace,
Dennis McNamara

Dear Brad,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. You and I were friends at BHS, I hope you remember me. I was Karen Bowker then. I called you "Brad, Bradford, Bradley, Braddo, Braddums, Schnookums, Baby..." If that rings any bells. I never met your father, but I knew you to be such a truly great person, all things good, so I imagine your father must have been so as well. I am truly sorry for your loss.
in lasting friendship,
Karen Bishop

I am so sorry to read of Bob's passing on-line. We went through most of our school years together, and I enjoyed talking them over at both of the school reunions that we attended. He was a shy, good looking, and a super friend in the 50's.

My deepest sympathy to my friend Bob's family.
We worked together for 25 years. Bob shared his lifetime of
knowledge with me. It was an honor to know him.
