Beatrice M. Wright

Beatrice M. Wright Halifax Beatrice M. (Lindgren) Wright, 89, died Thursday, Nov. 29, in the Baypoint Skilled Care Center of Brockton after a period of failing health. She would have celebrated her 90th birthday on December 1. She was the wife of the late Earl E. Wright. Born and raised in Brockton, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Melvina (Derosier) Lindgren and a graduate of Brockton High School. She moved to Halifax in 1956, where she worked in the cafeteria of the Halifax schools for 20 years. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Avon. She loved the beach as well as camping and simply going for rides. Beatrice crocheted lap afghans for patients in nursing homes and they were well received. She is survived by her children, Bevalie J. Prosper and her husband Richard of Bridgewater, George E. Wright and his wife Delores of Lakeville and David A. Wright of Los Angeles; and her brother, Robert L. Lindgren of Long Island, N.Y. She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Roy, Richard and Donald Lindgren. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 10 a.m. in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle), Whitman. Burial will follow in the Coweeset Cemetery, Brockton.
