Raymond C. Smith

Raymond C. Smith Middleboro Raymond Christopher Smith, age 37 years, of Middleboro, formerly of Brockton , died Nov. 30, 2007, at his home, unexpectedly. He was the husband of Kristin L. (Gallagher) Smith, they had been married for 12 years. Born in Stou-ghton, on July 24, 1970, he was a son of Mary F (Zorns) Arafe of Middleboro and the late Raymond Clarence Smith. He was a graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1988, and had been employed at Boch Enterprises, Inc., Norwood . He was a member of the Kia President's Advisory Group. He was a member of the Middleboro Lodge of Elks, the Hanson Rod and Gun Club and was a past Boy Scout Troop No. 17 member in Brockton. He will always be remembered for having a zest for life. He was an avid pool player and had belonged to two leagues. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dirt bikes, quads, motorcycles, in particular, his Harley Davidson. He will be warm-heartedly remembered as a devoted son, husband, father, brother, son-in-law, uncle and loving friend. Survivors include his wife of 12 years, his mother; Mary F (Zorns) and her husband Robert Arafe of Middleboro; one son, Shane M Gallagher-Smith; one daughter, Elizabeth M. Gallagher, both of Middleboro; in laws, Jane and John Gallagher of Beverly Hills, Fla.; one sister, Anjanette and her husband Donald Hance of Mansfield; one nephew, Christopher; two nieces, Bethani and Suzanne-Raye Hance, all of Mansfield. Funeral services to be held in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro, on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 10 a.m., relatives and friends are invited to attend.
