Timothy Kelleher Obituary

Timothy J. Kelleher Brockton Timothy J. Kelleher ,77 years, of Brockton, died Friday, at Brockton Hospital, following a short illness. He was born and raised in Brockton a son of the late William E. and Mary M. (Gaudette) Kelleher. He was a 1948 graduate of Brockton High School, where he was a member of the track team. During the Korean Conflict he served in the U.S. Army in Korea. Following his military service Mr. Kelleher lived in Whitman and was employed by Fernandes Supermarket in Brockton, and other South Shore towns as a meat department manager. In his retirement he worked as an orderly at the Brockton VA Medical Center. Twenty years ago Mr. Kelleher returned to Brockton. He was an avid reader and enjoyed visiting the Brockton Public Library. He had been a member of the Whitman VFW. Mr. Kelleher is survived by two sons Timothy F. Kelleher and his wife Susan of Upton and Michael P. Kelleher and his wife Jacqueline of Washington, DC. He was the grandfather of Ryan, Noah, Sarah and Emily Rose Kelleher and the brother of Marion Zapotoczky of Yonkers, N.Y. and the late Catherine Thomas. He is also survived by his former wife Arlene (Hammond) Kelleher of Florida. Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton, Wednesday, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, at 10:30 a.m. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Kelleher,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army in Korea. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
