I am sorry for your loss. I really liked Dick a lot when I went to the Baptist church. I remember him as being one of the deacons on Communion Sunday and being our adult Sunday School Teacher. I really enjoyed being in that class. He was also a fellow mason of my late father's

Mr. Rhoades,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

May God truly Comfort the Rhoades Family and find that friends care and send their love to support your loss.
Richard was a man faithful and true to the Word of God, Faithful to worship, praise and prayer. A student of the Bible. As a member, disciple, teacher, servant and deacon of First Baptist Church Whitman Richard cared for the Griswold children, Janet, Beverly and Russell.
Richard was honest and dedicated to the household of God; loved Groton Wood Camp which he was part of developing using the talents God gave him. So many young people learned of Gods love and forgiveness of sins by confessing and believing in His free gift of eternal life at Groton. Richard's heart truly was obeying and trusting in God's Word.
Richard encouraged the body of faith thru his obedience in prayer.
We will miss the loss of God's Servant Richard, but realize there will be a Reunion Day to those who believe and obey what Richard put his whole life into and lead his family to do.
God bless and keep you all until we met again. We send our love to each of you that the Comforter will fill each heart of the Rhoades Family.
