George Dascoulias Obituary

George N. Dascoulias Middleboro George N. Dascoulias, 89, of Middleboro, where he had been a longtime resident, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, at Oak Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born in New Hampshire, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Ethel Dascoulias, both of whom were from Greece. He attended Middleboro schools and was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was the former owner of the Central Cafe in Middleboro and was an avid coin collector. Husband of the late Mina (Resmini) Dascoulias; father of Ethel Lavalley of Georgetown, Texas, formerly of Norfolk; brother of the late Angelo Dascoulias, Dimetria Williams and Bessie Boyle; he is also survived by four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the R.J. Ross Funeral Home, 135 South St., Wrentham, on Friday morning from 10-11 a.m., for a prayer service at 11:30, followed by burial at Central Cemetery in Middleboro.

Mr. Dascoulias,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
