Veronica Bonfiglioli Obituary

Braintree Veronica Jean Bonfiglioli, a lifelong resident of Braintree, died unexpectedly on Saturday April 19. She was 30. Ms. Bonfiglioli was the beloved daughter of the recently retired Deputy Chief of the Braintree Fire Department, Ronald and Anne Marie (Cipollone) Bonfiglioli of Braintree. Born in Quincy on April 1, 1978, Ms. Bonfiglioli was a 1996 Braintree High School graduate and attended Quincy College and Sinnott School. She was a former manager for The Icing and assistant for the American Kemp Karate Academy. She most recently was a floral designer for Petrie Flowers of Braintree where she often surprised her loved ones with the most beautiful flower arrangements she designed. Ms. Bonfiglioli was a talented poet had a poem published in a book ten years ago. She was a sweet and loving spirit who loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was also an incredibly thoughtful and giving person who often made beautiful homemade cards for family and friends. She had a huge love for animals and was a talented dancer. Ms. Bonfiglioli was very athletic and loved to workout. She also loved to travel and especially enjoyed traveling to Arizona. In addition to her parents, Ms. Bonfiglioli is survived by her sisters: Rae-Ann DiNino and her husband Mark of Rockland and Coreen Badger and her husband Eric of Rockland; her Godchild and niece Marina DiNino, niece Adrianna DiNino, nephews Anthony DiNino and Kaiden Badger of Rockland. She was the granddaughter of the late Imo and Loretta Bonfiglioli and the late Albert and Filomena Cipollone. Ms. Bonfiglioli was loved and adored by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She will be so sadly missed by all. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 854 Washington St., Braintree on Thursday, April 24 at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. in the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin St., Quincy. Interment in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

I graduated with Veronica. I was very sad & shocked to hear about her passing. I remember one very fond day in 9th grade. Veronica & I were paired up in a class project. One question I had to ask her was who is your favorite actor & her response was Joe Pesci. I will never forget that!
