Jean M. Johnson

Abington Jean M. (Ward) Johnson, a homemaker, died on Monday at the South Shore Hospital surrounded by her loving children. She was 73 years of age. Born in Gardner, Maine, she was raised and educated in Weymouth and had lived in East Weymouth until moving to Abington in 1965. She enjoyed bowling, traveling and shopping. Beloved wife of the late Hugo A. Johnson, Jr. Devoted mother of Steven A. Johnson, George E. Johnson and Sandra Jean Morrell all of Abington, Scott T. Johnson of Kingston, Duane R. Johnson of Bourne, Dana M. Johnson of Whitman and the late Paul F. Johnson. Loving sister of Claire Mitchell of Pembroke, Linda Crouthers and Ellen Ballinger both of FL and the late Barbara Smith of Weymouth. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
