Richard Yule Obituary

Middleboro Richard B. Yule, 82, formerly of Rockland died on April 21, 2008 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was born in Quincy, son of the late Archibald and Marion (McLaughlin) Yule and was raised and educated in Rockland. He has made his home in Middleboro since 1980. Richard was a machinist by trade and spent his 40 year career at the H.H. Arnold Co. and later Globe Rubber Co. both in Rockland. In his retirement he was a driver for Ingle Bus Co. in Hanover. He was a former member of the Rockland Grange and currently a member of the Norwell Grange, the Mitchell Club and the Middleboro VFW. He is survived by his sister, Meredith Jean Eldeb and her husband James of Hanson, he was the brother of the late Robert Yule. Also surviving are his sister in law, Judith Yule of Carver, nephews Steven Yule of Carver and James Eldeb, Jr. of Hanson, nieces Patti-Jean Yule of Brockton, Cynthia Eldeb of Carver, Linda Ingle of Hanover, Marion Eldeb of Hanson and several great nieces and nephews. A Funeral will be held in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. ROCKLAND on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Donations in his memory may be made to the Norwell Grange, c/o Rebecca McArthur 417 Beechwood St. Cohasset, MA 02025. Mr. Yule,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
