Susan Joy-Beals Obituary

Plymouth Mrs. Susan May Joy-Beals, 62 of Plymouth, formerly of New Orleans and Rockland died at home Monday, May 26, 2008. The daughter of the late Robert Lincoln Joy and Marjorie Emily (Libby) Joy, she was born in Quincy on August 24, 1945. She was a graduate of Rockland High School and a 1995 graduate of Brockton Hospital School of Nursing. Susan had formerly been employed as a Nurse at Falmouth Hospital and Jordan Hospital. She loved Nursing, animals and home decorating. She is survived by her beloved husband, William J. "Bud" Beals, 2 brothers, Robert E. Joy, Sr. of Birmingham, AL and William A. Joy of Charlevoix, MI, 1 sister, Judith Joy Crocker of Falmouth and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A Family Graveside Service was held on Thursday at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Abington. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan's name may be made to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360. Bud, Judy and family,
I am so shocked and sad to read of Susan's passing.
I will always carry her bright spirit near my heart. She was one of the most important people in my life growing up on Whiting St/Pond St.
My sincerest regards to all of you from the Morse family.
