To my dear sister,

I could write such a long history we shared in your guestbook, a history of love and being together as sisters. But, there is not enough space to do that, so I will say how much I love and miss you, and always will. You always loved and accepted me as the baby of the family, and I the same to you as my "big" sister! Our love was unconditional. We had a few tough times, but isn't that supposed to be "normal" for sisters? Nina, I miss talking to you and hearing your voice. You were the last my of siblings to leave, and it makes me sad. You will always be in my heart for the rest of my life. I love you. Tooie

My favorite Nene story has to be when she took cousin Greg and Oma and I out to lunch. I swear we drove halfway across the commonwealth to get to HER place. I have no idea where it was or even if the food was any good, but I know this - the prices were very very low. With 5 kids I'm sure she was excellent at stretching her pennies. Nene did a great job of teaching all of us the value of a dollar, something I still hang onto today. Thank you Nene!

Dear Nina,
Even though I've been a part of the family for only 5 years, I already miss you so very much. I'm so glad that we had some time together, especially towards the end where we really bonded. I'm just sorry that we couldn't have had more time. I will be eternally grateful to you for raising Doug to be such an oustanding man and I'm lucky to be his wife.
Love,
Twila
