Stephen Magee Obituary

Venice, Florida Stephen T. Magee, age 60, died Saturday, June 14, 2008, at the Venice Regional Hospital in Venice, FL. Mr. Magee was born in Boston, he was raised and educated in Quincy Schools. He graduated from Quincy High School. He had lived in Englewood, FL for the last eight years, previously living in Weymouth and earlier living in Quincy. He worked at the Tri County Air Conditioning and Heating Company in Englewood, FL for the last seven years. Mr. Magee served in the United States Army Reserves as a cook for several years. Beloved father of Kelly Ann Anastasio and her husband Clark of South Easton. Beloved step-father of Richard Smith and his wife Kristine of Abington. Former husband of Lana Magee-Wolff of Canton and Antoinette Magee of Weymouth. Loving grandfather of Michael and Steven Anastasio, and Emily, Madison, and Mackenzie Smith. Devoted son of Mary (Eden) Magee of Quincy and the late Thomas F. Magee. Brother of Mary Landrigan and her husband Philip Landrigan, M.D. of Mamaroneck, NY, Paul J. Magee and his wife Patricia of Englewood, FL, and Thomas C. Magee of Dorchester. Also survived by six nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Ave., Quincy, Friday, June 20th at 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish at the Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 227 Sea St., Quincy at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours Thursday, 4-8 p.m. Interment Mount Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Magee's memory may be made to the Autism Society of America - MA Chapter, 47 Walnut St., Wellesley Hills, MA 02181.
