Lady Lake, FL Eleanor Simonds McKim, age 81, of Lady Lake, Fl. passed away at her residence on Tuesday, June 17, 2008. She was born in Weymouth MA, May 24, 1927, the daughter of William and Viola Simonds. She moved to Lady Lake in 1985 coming from Weymouth, MA. Her favorite activities included volunteering, knitting, and spending time with he r family. Survivors include her husband William McKim, Lady Lake, son Bruce McKim, E. Bridgewater, MA, two daughters, Janet Morton, Summerfield, FL and Joyce Behr, Savage, MN, sister Louise E. Smith, North Easton, MA, and Brenda Pickett, Whitman, MA, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Memorial services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, June 20, 2008 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Service The Village, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL. 32159, with Rev. Stan OLaughlin, North Lake Presbyterian, and Rev. Charlotte Lewis, Community United Methodist Church officiating. Inurnment will be at Florida National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to The Villagers for Hospice, 601 Casa Bella Avenue, Lady Lake, FL. 32159. Arrangements by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, FL.
