Margaret O'Brien Obituary

Dorchester Margaret A. (Coyne) OBrien, a retired pharmacy clerk, died Tuesday June 17 at South Shore Hospital, Weymouth. She was 75 years old. Born and raised in Dorchester, she was a graduate of Cardinal Cushing High School, South Boston. Mrs. OBrien was a pharmacy clerk at St. Margarets Hospital, Dorchester. Beloved wife of 55 years to James H. OBrien Sr. Devoted mother of James H. OBrien Jr. and his wife Virginia of Milton, Thomas M. OBrien and his wife Patricia of Hanover, Maureen OBrien and her husband George Garcia of Canton, Patricia M. OBrien of Melrose and the late Paul Joseph OBrien. Loving sister of John Coyne and Leo Coyne, both of Milton, Paul Coyne of FL and Joseph Coyne of Weymouth. Sister-in-law to Josephine Tassinary, Blanche, Barbara and Patricia Coyne. Adoring grandmother to Kristin, Elizabeth, Michael, Alex, Matthew, Patrick, Casey and Paul. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Gregory Church, Dorchester, Saturday June 21 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington Street, DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Friday 4-8 PM. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery.
