William Mackey Obituary

Scituate William "Bill" Mackey, born on December 10, 1941 in Roxbury, MA and passed way on May 31, 2007 in Las Vegas, NV. William was a 1961 graduate of Scituate High School, Scituate. Lived in Scituate, Marshfield, San Diego and Vista, CA, Waynesville, NC and Madison, WI. Willaim served in US Marine Corp; was a Carpenter with Hingham and San Diego Locals. Worked for Bechtel Nucleur Co. for 16 years in Plymouth MA and Oceanside, CA. Organizer and leader of "FREEDOM FRIDAY" to keep San Diego jobs Union with local companys. Owner of Village Pets, Village Avaries, and Village Kennels. International Avian Judge in the United States, England, Germany and Holland William was a member of the Masonic Order in CA , American Pigeon Associations, New York Combine and many others. Survived by wife Pat (Brean), three daughters, Dyan Davis, Ala; Raye Raasch & Macy Lindsay, CA; and son Eric Brean, Texas. Seven grandchildren...Lindsay, Andrew, Matt, Shanon, Allison, Derek and Christian. Two sisters, Mary Mackey, Scituate, and Doreen Albrecht, NV. Eight brrothers, John, Bruce, Joseph, MA; Ronald, MS: Wayne, Kevin, Brian, and Eric, NV. Also many aunts, uncles and cousins live in this area. Celebration on Sunday, June 22nd 3-6 p.m. at 126 Turner Rd, Scituate. If you were a class mate, friend or worked with Bill, his children and grandchildren invite you to join us. Sir, as a fellow Marine, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USMC. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
