It's been a few years, but I am Jenna Cresta, his niece, and as someone who suffers from alot of mental issues, I can't help but miss him more and more everyday. I wish my papa was still here. I will never not miss him any day that goes by. I love you Papa... I hope you are resting in the pure peace you deserve, and I know you look over me everyday. I miss you. I love you.

I wanted to write a thank you to the entire Boss Family for the kindness, warmth and love you've all displayed at the funeral of a beloved friend, man, father, brother, uncle and cousin Roy Boss. On behalf of our family, the thoughtful words you all spoke of our daughter Reina and the stories of Roy warmed our soul. Roy Boss's love will continue to live in our hearts as long as we live; and the memories of time spent together will too. God bless you all and may the peace, grace and love of our Saviour Jesus Christ be with you all!

I extend every possible condolence to Roy's entire family, friends, and beyond on the loss of a true passionate lover of family, life, work, and music to which I was blessed to share a little part of the 90's in our band Shadow Canyon. Any other musical venture I've engaged in since always had a yearn, in some way, to capture some of that band's influence both personal and musical. It has been and shall always be an honor and a privelege to have known him and his family not only as a musical associate but as one of the best human beings I've ever known. His spirit will remain in me from here on out!

Mr. Boss,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USAF during the Cold War. Millions of Americans slept safe at night because you and your fellow servicemembers stood ready to defend our Country. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Roy was the best friend I have ever had in my life. From the third grade until the present day he was always there for me as true friends are. He loved Bud, Marie, Kari and Jeff more than I could ever write in words. We had a lot of great times growing up together and I will never forget them. Donna, Roy used to always say that you were the rock in his life and without you he would be lost. He loved Jesse and Lisa very much and was proud of them both and how they were maturing into great people. Jenna Rose was just the apple of his eye and would do anything for her. I will carry Roy in my heart until my last day on earth. The last time we saw eachother, as we were saying our goodbye's we hugged and said we loved eachother, to which Roy said "What, no kisses?!" We laughed and waved goodbye. For that I am truly grateful.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your tragic loss! Roy was in his late twenties when I first met him and, even though I was 15 or 16, he made me feel like we were long time friends. . I always gravitated towards him at the numerous F.H. Peterson functions that I attended. The stories that I heard! Roy was a mythical figure to me; he always seemed larger than life. I always think back on that period in my life and smile. What great times we had. I’ll treasure those memories forever! Donna, we have only met a few times, mostly in passing at a Christmas Party or other FHP function. I am truly sorry for your loss. Wilbur and Marie, I know there are no words to ease the pain. Know that you raised one hell of a son!! My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
