Carol Paige Obituary

Quincy Carol Ann Paige (Thurston), a longtime resident of Quincy, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2008 at The Irish Manor in Braintree, MA after a heroic battle with lung cancer. She was 61 years old. Born in South Weymouth, MA. She was the daughter of the late Emerson and Mary(Gordon)Thurston. She is survived by her children, Dennis R. Bailey and his wife Rebecca of NorthPort, FL, Alyson(Carney) Cresswell and her husband Jason of Weymouth, MA, Tricia(Carney)Sullivan and her husband Brian of Raynham, MA. She was the Nana to Michael Irving, Guinevere Bailey, Alana Sullivan, and Brady Sullivan. Sister to Emerson (Butch) Thurston of Pembroke, MA, Diane (Thurston) Riggs of Port Charlotte, FL and the late Patricia Vaccarino (Thurston). Also survived by several nieces and nephews and many loving friends. The family would like to thank Massachusetts General Hospital, Hospice of the South Shore, and The Irish Manor. Visiting hours will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home E. WEYMOUTH on the corner of Middle and Charles Sts. (at Central Sq.) Thursday,. 4:30-8 P.M. Relatives and friends invited. Services and interment are private. I am so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. We were childhood friends and never forgot each others birthdays no matter where life took us. Carol was a deeply spiritual soul with a kind heart. Till we meet again Carol.
