Lauri, Mary Lou and family,
I am so sorry about your loss. You have been in my thoughts. Your dad was a lot of fun when we were growing up and he was the first person to give me a real home grown vegetable!!! He was one of a kind. Love Nancy (O'Donoghue)

My old friend Edie Westland Papkey was a sister to Bob Westland, I met him way back around 1956 or so. He was a real dapper dresser and had a cute, petite wife, Mary Lou who I believe was his high school sweetheart. Bob was just started out working at the Stetson Shoe Co, and he had a lot of shoes which he used to show to Edie and I.
I had seen Bob Westland quite a few times in the last 45 years or so, he always had his mind set on some new enterprise he was thinking of working on.
His mom Catherine and his sister Ruthie always treated me kindly when i would visit them on Buckley St. West Quincy. Bob's dad, Vernon, died when Bob was newly married around 1961 or so.The entire Westland family holds only good memories, for me.
Bob Westland did his best in spite of the odds .. whatever his task.
