Elaine Manning Obituary

Pembroke Mrs. Elaine Florence (Rioux) Manning, 76, of Pembroke, died Monday in the Brockton Hospital after a short illness. She was born in Hartford, CT on February 8, 1932, the daughter of the late Pierre and Ethel (Bell) Rioux. She was raised and educated in Watertown and has lived in Pembroke for 35 years. She is survived by her husband George "Al" Manning, 4 sons: George A. Manning, Jr. of Plympton, Larry J. Manning of Marshfield, Scott P. Manning of Kingston and Peter J. Manning of Marshfield, 1 daughter: Gail E. Manning of Pembroke, 3 brothers: Peter Rioux of Hanson, Charles Pendleton of Hanson and Thomas Pendleton of Rockland, 2 sisters: Ruth Riddle of Hanover and Karen Eade of Anna, TX, 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. The Funeral Service will be on Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 17 Church St., Hanover. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in East Pembroke. Visiting Hours will be on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte. 53, in HANOVER.
