Bob was an enthusiastic supporter of the USCG Amateur Radio Net. I always looked forward to talking with W1NMF every Saturday. He always had a good story to share each week. He will be missed. My condolences to his family and many friends.

Chief,
I wish we'd got to be friends sooner as you were a stable force in a whirlwind world. Time spent with you at coffee, Lodge, and on the air has been all extra value added and I will think of you often until we again hopefully meet.

My deepest condolences to the Flynn family for their loss, from the Henry W. Piel family (formerly of Marshfield, MA) of South Grafton, MA. In my youth, RMCS Flynn told me some sea stories of the "six foot navy", as well as his days as a Radioman at NMF. I always viewed him as an "Elmer" and I ended up in the grey fleet as a Radioman myself. Senior Chief, you will be missed. 73s Silent Key and God Bless.

Mr. Flynn,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN and USCG-especially during WW II. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
