Dear Joan,

I extend my sincere condolences to you. Clearly my two most enjoyable years at the Fed were in Check Collection when I often worked with Arthur on special projects. He was very knowledgeable, shared information, and he was a uniquely humorous gentleman. Everyone liked Arthur and he leaves us with a wealth of positive memories.

Sincerely,

Frank Baker

Dear Joan and the family of Arthur,
Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of Arthur, I had the pleasure of working with him at the Fed and I admired him for the work that he did and how he always had a good "Punch" line after the conversation. He was part of the "Rat Pack" of the Fed, with Jim Gaffney, John Googin, Walter Mahoney and others. He will be missed, but remembering the good times will heal the loss.

With deep sympathy
John Salemme
