Edna A. Guilfoy

Quincy Edna A. (Glynn) Guilfoy, June 26, 2008. Loving wife of 55 years to the late Walter J. Guilfoy. Loving mother of Joanne Vacca of Quincy, Susan Mickey of CO, George W. Guilfoy of Kingston and the late Janet Guilfoy. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Edna was born in Boston and grew up in Dorchester, graduating from Dorchester High School. She has lived in Quincy for the last 53 years. Edna was a great cook and worked in food service for Quincy Public Schools. She also loved bowling, competing in many tournaments. She enjoyed travelling to Florida with her husband and to Hampton Beach every year with the whole family. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Sunday 2- 6 p.m. Services on Monday are private for family only.
