Mr. Coakley,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice-first for our Country when you served in the USMC during the Korean War and secondly for the citizens of Boston when you served in the BPD. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

To the Coakley Family,
My dearest sympahty and condolences to your family. I grew up on 18 Virginia Circle Joe and Anne were my neighbors. Joe was like a grandpa to me. He called me Petro, that was my nickname for him. From xmas times with Annie and snowshoveling driveways and painting for him, and drinking coffee at dunkin donuts.
It was a pleasure knowing Joe. He will greatly be missed.
